As a Senior Engineer Data Science, you will be responsible for developing AI and Machine Learning models and pipelines, focusing on generative AI, LLMs, and predictive modeling. You will collaborate closely with business and product stakeholders to understand data requirements and product specifications, aiding in data-driven decision-making and product design. Your role will involve working alongside software engineers and developers to deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies, leveraging your expertise in ML/A and programming skills to support this transition.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, managing, and maintaining systems, as wells as handling large datasets. Proficiency in common machine learning and AI frameworks, along with a solid understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals, such as deep learning, regression, classification, and clustering algorithms, is essential. Experience with retrieval augmented generation pipelines and the design and evaluation of LLM-supported use cases is highly valued.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience

  • Post Graduate Degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science

  • 3+ years of experience in a data scientist role

  • PhD or MSc in Computer Science/Machine Learning/A, or related work experience

  • Proficiency in pytorch/tensorflow, scikitlearn, xgboost, or equivalent ML ecosystem tools

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL

  • Ability to create meaningful data visualizations

  • Experience in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying Machine Learning models

  • Familiarity with langchain/llamaindex/haystack/Azure AI studio, vector databases, and retrieval techniques

  • Proficiency in SQL, Azure Data Factory, or similar for database handling

  • Knowledge of Software Development best practices and MLOps fundamentals

  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management, Collections, or financial industries is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
